| I was under the impression that my quest to delete my xanga was successful.
However, I have recently been informed that I still have it.
Isn't that something?

| Augh, how do you delete this thing?

| Friday I received my first paycheck from Starbucks.
It was a fair amount, I suppose. Better than my last job.
Today I worked from 5:30am until 11:30am.
I love opening on Sundays because, despite the early morning, time just
flies by because there are so many customers. In fact, I think
Sunday mornings are the busiest day at Starbucks. It also didn't
hurt that this was race weekend.
On a different note, I would very much like for school to end right now.
I would also like to escape on a vacation. Perhaps a trip to the beach.
However, a trip to the beach at this point in time is not an
option. Thank Jesus I will be escaping up to Ohio ("Ohia") this
coming weekend.
This could turn out to be one emotional trip. I will see all my best friends graduate.
The whole time I will be thinking "Why am I not up there with them..."
Then I will remember...
Life's a bitch.

| Forget not getting off work until 12.
Try working 5:00 pm - 1:00 am.
And having to get up for school the next morning.
And take an ap bio quiz.
And stay awake.
Laura knows what she's doing tomorrow on her night off.

| So, today is the first of two days this week that I don't work.
This makes me pretty happy because working late nights, like last night
when I closed and didn't get off until 12, is really taking its toll on
me. I really like my job so far...I just never seem to have time
for other important things I need to be doing.
However, tonight is different.
Things I plan on accomplishing tonight:
1. Study for my AP Bio quiz tomorrow
2. Study for my English test tomorrow
3. Practice my French horn solo
4. Take my yoga class (5:30)
and after I have accomplished this list
5. RELAX!!!
I'm quite excited.
In other news...
Today in band we played through my solo. It went okay. I
still have a lot of work to do before the concert, but nothing too
unattainable. I also conducted a song as part of our Honors Band
requirements. Conducting is harder than I imagined it would
be...and a lot scarier too. I guess that is something I'll have to
get used to.
As of 2:45 pm I am now the proud recipient of the Tri-M Music Honors
Society "Most Likely to Become the Next Mrs. Howard or Mr. Smith"
senior superlative.
My Prize?
A conducting wand.
Really it was a stick with electrical tape wrapped at one of the tips...but hey...it's still cool.
